Using Soccer to Build a Lasting Legacy

Two weeks ago, I had the privilege of being invited to FIFA to participate in a powerful conversation about the Talent Development Scheme — and how it is shaping the future of soccer across the globe.

It was an incredible honor to sit alongside coaches from every corner of the world, sharing ideas, experiences, and visions for what the game can become. In that room, I was reminded of something important: dedication, consistency, and commitment open doors to the conversations that truly matter.

For me, legacy is not defined by the trophies we lift. Those moments are special, but they are not the heart of our impact. Legacy lives in the lives we change for the better — in the way we use soccer as a platform to empower young people to grow into the best version of themselves, both on and off the field.

This is why I continue to invest my time, energy, and heart into projects that go beyond the scoreboard. Soccer has the power to inspire, to unite, and to open opportunities for youth who might never have imagined what was possible.
